SSS12 - Charlestown South

Friday, 15 January 2010

Event: SSS12
Location: Charlestown
Weather: Unsettled, windy & overcast
Organisation: Ian Dempsey
Start: Neil Chappell
Finish: Glenn Burgess, David Messenger
Entries: 89

This was only our second event on this map after last years inaugural run and once again it proved to be a very challenging, hilly area. Course setter Ian Demsey also added to the complexity by providing an area of dense one point control sites in the South-West in oppostion to a spread of higher points elsewhere.

Numbers rose slightly over the previous week suggesting more and more people are returning from their summer holidays.

Next week we return to the lovely lakes of Warabrook where our series co-ordinator Malcom Roberts will be the setter of the day.

Notes from the scorer's desk ...
